Six schools, one standard
Each school owns a field and sees it through: a continuous curriculum, teachers from the trade, a board that settles results, named career paths. Together they carry 18 long-form programmes.
What each school holds
A school is a responsibility, not a catalogue heading. It assigns teachers to a field, builds the board that deliberates in it, publishes the hours of each of its programmes and names the occupations they prepare for. These four commitments can be checked one after the other, and they are identical across all six.

What each school carries
Computer Science
Software engineering, systems and development. The school trains software architects: algorithms, databases, distributed systems and application development.
Artificial Intelligence
Machine learning, data and intelligent systems. The school of applied artificial intelligence: machine learning, data science and language models.
Engineering
Infrastructure, networks and cybersecurity. The school of critical infrastructure: networks, cloud computing, offensive and defensive security.
Business School
Trade, management, finance and entrepreneurship. The institute's management school: management, finance, international trade, marketing and venture creation.
Executive Education
Professional certificates and continuing education. The school for working professionals: recognised certificates and short programmes, designed to be taken without leaving your job and to have an immediate effect on the role you hold.

Laboratories, projects and applied innovation. The IHETC research institute: applied laboratories, partnership projects, hackathons and support for startups emerging from our cohorts.
Why six and not twenty
Multiplying course titles takes an afternoon: rename an existing track and you are done. Owning a field means assigning teachers to it, building an examination board and standing behind its outcomes. We would rather have six schools genuinely held — and the day a seventh opens, it will be because faculty joined it.
Questions about the schools
How do I choose a school?
By the occupation you are aiming for rather than by the programme title. The outcomes page names the occupations each level prepares for, and the admission interview exists precisely to confirm the choice before you commit. All 18 long-form programmes are open to comparison, fees and hours included.
Can I change school mid-programme?
Yes, on a request examined by committee. Credits already earned are carried into the new programme where competencies overlap, and the written decision states the entry point proposed and which blocks are recognised.
Does the research institute host students?
It hosts final projects that continue past the defence, as well as laboratory work carried out during the final year. The applied research page describes how you get in and what you produce there.
