The library and the working environments

Everything a programme asks you to read, handle and produce is opened by your account, with no additional purchase. Here is what the digital library holds and how you work in it.

What your account opens

The library tracks the 133 modules of the long-form programmes: each module deposits its resources, its briefs and the datasets it has you work on. All of it is covered by your tuition fees, and it stays readable on the content you took, after the programme ends.

  • Each module's resources, downloadable for offline use
  • Briefs, marking scales and model answers for work already submitted
  • The West African datasets on which the work is carried out
  • Recordings of live workshops, indexed by module
  • The work you have added to your competency record

The working environments

A technical programme is practised on tools, and those tools are provided online rather than installed. A recent browser is enough, including from a shared machine: that design choice is what lets a computing programme run without a dedicated machine throughout the first year.

An online coding workshop

Editor, execution and test suites in the browser. Work is saved server-side and follows your account from one device to another.

A data sandbox

The module's datasets are handled directly there, at the same volumes met on the job.

A versioned submission space

Every submission keeps its timestamp and history: revision after marking reads as a progression.

Questions about resources

Can the library be used offline?

A module's resources download in one operation and read without a network. Workshop recordings also download, module by module, to be followed when the signal is missing.

Does access continue after the programme?

Yes, on the content you took. It is a service covered by your tuition fees, and it appears as such in the list published on the fees page.
