IHETC Campus
What you need in order to follow
A phone and an intermittent connection are enough to carry most of a programme. Here is precisely what is needed, programme by programme, and what offline mode makes possible.
The essentials, with nothing extra
The digital campus was designed for the most widespread screen and the most irregular network, in that order. What follows covers reading, module progress, forum participation and the submission of most deliverables.
- A recent phone, or any device with an up-to-date browser
- An intermittent connection: downloading is enough, permanence is optional
- Storage space to carry the modules you are working through
- A valid email address, which receives deadline notifications
What offline mode makes possible
- 01
Download the module
The course, its resources and the deliverable briefs are taken with you in one operation, while the network is available.
- 02
Work without a network
Reading, exercises and writing happen offline. Nothing you write depends on the signal.
- 03
Sync when the signal returns
Your answers and submissions go out by themselves on reconnection, timestamped at the date you wrote them.
- 04
Pick up where you left off
Progress recorded offline joins your record: the credit counter never depends on network quality.
What technical programmes ask for
Some technical programmes ask for a computer from the second year, because the professional skill they teach is exercised on that tool. It is stated on the relevant programme page, before you commit, and never discovered along the way. Across the 18 long-form programmes, this requirement is flagged programme by programme in the catalogue.
- device is enough in the first year
- 1
- the year from which some technical programmes ask for a computer
- 2
- paid software required by the programme
- 0
- programmes whose equipment requirement is published

Questions about equipment
Is the software used paid for?
The programmes' working environments are provided online and covered by your tuition fees. When a market tool is studied, a free version or an educational licence is indicated, and the exercise stays doable without a purchase.
Where can I work if I have no computer at home?
Working environments run online: a recent browser is enough, including from a shared machine. Your progress and submissions are attached to your account and follow you from one device to another.
