A hands-on programme in offensive and defensive security: auditing, penetration testing, incident response and governance. Practical work runs on an isolated lab, within a strict legal and ethical framework.

    Filtering, segmentation, intrusion detection, traffic analysis, hardening

    Vulnerabilities, secure code review, defensive development, interface and supply-chain security

  4. Technical English and methodology

    Reading technical sources in English, writing and presenting an audit report

  1. Penetration testing

    Methodology, reconnaissance, exploitation, privilege escalation, writing the audit report

  2. Incident response and digital forensics

    Detection, containment, eradication, restoration, evidence collection, post-incident report

  3. Governance, risk and compliance

    Security policy, risk analysis, frameworks, continuity, awareness, applicable law

  4. Professional dissertation and sixteen-week placement

    An assignment in an organisation: audit, compliance work, or building a security operations centre

Real prerequisite

What follows is assumed and will not be explained again. If most of it is foreign to you, this is not the right entry point — better to know now than at the final assessment.

Administering a Linux system, understanding IP routing and reading a system log. Without that, the first three modules stay out of reach.

  • Bac+3 level in computer science or three years of equivalent professional experience
  • Good command of systems and networks
  • Signed ethics undertaking on the lawful use of the techniques taught
