Who supports you, and when

Three points of contact, three distinct roles, and no grey area: the tutor at any hour, the faculty adviser on your path, the registry on administrative matters. Here is who answers what.

Three contacts, three roles

Knowing whom to address saves days. The split is written once and for all and holds in all six schools: a content question goes to the tutor, a path question to the faculty adviser, an administrative question to the registry.

The tutor

Available at any hour and anchored in the exact content of your course. It rephrases, offers an example, asks the question that unblocks.

The faculty adviser

They follow your path from one semester to the next, rearrange a work plan and advise you on further study.

The registry

Certificates, transcripts, instalment schedules, pausing a year: administrative acts are requested online and come back dated.

What the tutor carries out

The tutor works on the exact content of your course and is permanently available. Its role is to speed up understanding while you learn, and to send each person back to their own reasoning during an assessment counting toward the award. That split is what gives the result its value.

While you learn

  • Rephrasing a concept differently, as many times as needed
  • Offering a worked example, close to the module in hand
  • Asking the intermediate question that moves reasoning forward
  • Pointing to the exact course resource rather than to the whole web
  • Checking an approach before you invest hours in it

During an assessment

  • Restating the brief, the marking scale and the submission conditions
  • Sending each person back to their own reasoning, so the grade is yours
  • Flagging an approaching deadline and the state of your submission
  • Passing to a teacher any question that belongs to their decision

The response times we hold

Support is judged on response times, not on intentions. Here are the ones the institute commits to, from first message to appeal decision. They appear in the regulations and can be checked in your space, where every request carries its date.

Questions about support

What do I do if I get stuck on a Sunday evening?

The tutor answers at any hour, every day, on the exact content of your course. If the question belongs to a decision — a deadline, a grade, an adjustment — it is passed to your faculty adviser, who replies on the next working day.

How do I request a change of pace?

By messaging your faculty adviser, who rearranges the work plan with you and sets new deadlines. The request and the decision are written, dated and available in your space.
