The academic calendar
Every firm date of a year is published at the start of the year: 30 teaching weeks, two semesters, two examination sittings and one board meeting. You organise the rest as you see fit.
The milestones of a year
- 01
Intake and work plan
The year opens with a dated work plan, module by module, with submission deadlines and assessment dates already set.
- 02
First semester
Modules follow one another, work is submitted, the year's project starts and receives its first milestone feedback.
- 03
Synthesis assessments
The main sitting closes the semester. Dates have been known since the intake, which leaves time to plan around them.
- 04
Second semester
Advanced modules open, the project enters its build phase and live workshops close in around it.
- 05
Defence and resit sitting
The project is defended before practitioners. The resit sitting follows immediately, for any assessment still to be taken.
- 06
Board meeting
The board settles results, rules on progression and awards qualifications. Every decision is notified in writing with its reason.
What is dated from the intake
A calendar published late amounts to asking for permanent availability. Ours sets out, from day one, everything that commits you to a precise date, so you can arbitrate between the programme, a job and family life.

What the year weighs, in volume
An academic year counts 30 teaching weeks and 60 credits, that is 600 supervised hours and 900 hours of personal work. Divide by the weeks and you get the weekly load stated on every programme page: the calculation is public, and you can redo it.

Questions about the calendar
Are there fixed schedules?
Live sessions are offered and recorded; you follow them when it suits you. The firm dates are those of assessments and the defence, published at the start of the year precisely so you can plan for them.
Can I pause for a year?
Yes, on a reasoned request. Your progress and validated results remain valid: you resume where you stopped, without redoing what you passed. Resumption happens at the next session of the module concerned.
